AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, Oct 3 (TIWN): Criminal, unethical, unlawful threats from a certain section of ruling party leaders have allegedly put Tripura police on roller coasters like situations, unable to work at minimum ease and the free hands in investigation are chained saffron manipulation. Direct allegations raised against BJP MLA, MP for threatening police officials in various cases on recently held crime incidents in state. They are pressuring police to release miscreants and weakening sensible cases like gang-rape case. BJP MP Pratima Bhowmik’s statement against a gang-rape victim by character assassinating her, challenging that investigation will prove how the rape victim is not truthful in statement in Sep-24 incident at Usha Bazar has been condemned severely statewide. Opposition CPI-M leader Pabitra Kar slammed Pratima Bhowmik saying, even before investigation is completed such judgmental statements from a woman leader against another victim woman proves the “low mentality”.

Pratima Bhowmik is allegedly backing the rape accused persons in Sep 24 Usha Bazar incident as all the accused are BJP’s strong activists.

Total 10 persons raped a housewife on Sept 24 in Usha Bazar in Agartala, but 3 police stations denied to lodge FIR after pressurized from an MLA of BJP, reported by state’s almost all media.

Due to police’s dilemma to take immediate action, more rape incidents took place where in Sabroom under South Tripura District a BJP leader alleged raped a housewife. Reacting over increasing crimes, opposition said that Govt’s patronizing of Criminals are leading increasing crimes in the state.

Another fresh allegation was in uproar for releasing 3 hooligans at Udaipur just before they were all set to produce before the court in violence allegation in drunk condition. Reportedly police also did medical tests to confirm their drunk state. The violence was held followed by an opposition rally and violent instigating social media posts. 1) Babul Deb, 2) Ratan Saha, 3) Suman Roy Sarkar are the 3 leaders of BJP for creating chaos, caused violence.

Earlier, police at Amtali PS faced tremendous pressure after lodging FIR against BJP MLA Ram Prasad Pal and police were bound to take action against victims instead of the MLA.

Time to time, Tripura witnessed BJP leaders who are openly threatening  police officials on camera specially centering the polling times.

With all these, although BJP patronized criminals are secured with political safety-jackets, but Govt undergoing no-trust-motion like situation due to “Patronizing Criminal” culture.
