After the gap of few days, which was due to various reasons including election, the Chief Minister's “Janata Darbar” resumed again on Monday. Administration has been trying to bring “Janata Darbar” to the people of this area for a long time. The administration has brought the opportunity to speak to the Chief Minister on personal and collective issues irrespective of the party. Accordingly, people of different levels participated in the Janata Darbar held on Monday. The public put their concerns and problems forward infront of the Chief Minister.Chief Minister Shri Biplab Kumar Deb attended there along with top administrative officials to listen to the common people. He listened to everyone and promised to solve the problem within a month. He also instructed the survey to be completed quickly to resolve other problems.

 

Majority of the tribal public from the area put their problems forward infront of  the Chief Minister. Some were concerned about the school, while others raised the demand for medical care. Many spoke of roads, administrative infrastructure, etc. Only two have asked for government jobs. The Chief Minister said that it has made clear that the mentality of the people of the state has changed. The Chief Minister said that, “no political leader came on that day to solve the problem.Rather, an ordinary person has come.” 

 

On this day, the Chief Minister expressed his satisfaction over the overall management of the Janata Darbar. After hearing the problems of people, he asked the administrative officials to solve the  minor problems. From the Panchayat Secretary to the Chief Secretary, the Chief Minister urged them to act with sincere responsibility. "Wherever you are, you must work to construct Tripura". Later talking to reporters, the Chief Minister said that people are now thinking about the welfare of the society. He stated that after patiently meeting and hearing about the problems of the people.

 

Criticizing the opposition, the Chief Minister said that he had not heard from anyone that there was scarcity of food. Opponents make such allegations without going to the remote areas of the state, without facing the truth, and do politics sitting in Agartala. Shri Biplab Kumar Deb dared the opposition to visit the people of the tribal areas to know the real truth. He was accompanied by Vice-President of the Legislative Assembly Shri Vishwabandhu Sen.

 

On that day, after the meet, the Chief Minister sat down with everyone and had lunch. As the Chief Minister would eat, he had already  told not to organize anything with royalty. Therefore, he sat down with the officials and the common people to have lunch . According to the Prime Minister's call, plastic was not used on that day. All the arrangements were plastic free.
