AGARTALA, Sep 16 (TIWN): In only 18 months, BJP Govt turned highly unpopular due to anti-people policies which directly helped opposition parties CPI-M, Congress to recover lost ground in Tripura. In a shocking “come back” of the Leftist mass power, 18 month’s old BJP Govt is rattled in Northeast state Tripura and for that achievement of the opposition thanks go to BJP Govt’s various unpopular decisions including the recent one of Scrapping Free Medical services across Govt hospitals. Today CPI-M’s youth wings led massive rally shocked BJP’s autocracy-era existing in the state and youths overcoming all fears openly joined in the Marxist’s gathering at Agartala town. Their demands were only “Employment” and “No” to “Autocracy” under the banner of "Restore the Democracy".

The first reason why BJP came in power unseating the 25 years long ruling Communist party was the unemployed youths and now the fastest losing ground-reason for the BJP Govt is also the unemployed youths. At least 7 lakhs unemployed youths voted for the BJP in 2018 Assembly election as BJP promised house to house 1 job opportunities and 50,000 Govt jobs in the first one year.

The wrong decision of decreasing Govt job rates was might be logical, designed for the future but after various attempts of the Govt to prove itself write on curving govt job opportunities could not hold the popularity of BJP Govt as unemployment rate increased than ever higher although Govt data declining unemployment rate.

Analytic question is, data can be manipulated but how vote banks can be manipulated in the long run specially in state like Tripura where literacy rate is highest than anyother Indian state and public’s political knowledge is high.

In the upcoming by-election at Badharghat, the report of BJP is not in support whereas CPI-M, Congress announced if legal means are adopted for voting process then BJP will definitely lose the election.

High taxation, privatization of various sectors, termination of contractual employees including low-grade workers as mid-day-meal workers' jobs sacking were done against continuous objection from the opposition and the common men. Each taxation decision was taken not even caring about the common men's acceptation and reaction over such decisions.

All these have left the BJP image with an anti-people image added by Ministers like Ratanlal Nath whose decisions, attitudes towards employees day to day causing damages to the party along with infighting like major problems inside the BJP.
