NEW DELHI/AGARTALA,October 27(TIWN): The much talked 10323 teachers jobs termination case won't be raised for Hearing in the Supreme Court today, next hearing is scheduled for 9th January, 2015. Earlier it was scheduled that the Hearing on this case will be done today. It is learnt that notices regarding the hearing have not reached to all respondents and their replies too did not reach yet. The case will not be put up for hearing in the SC ; only the Register will verify whether all respondents reced notice or not. However, considering the importance of the case Register may declare the date for the Hearing of the Case. Thus, once again uncertainty of the fate of 10323 terminated teachers starts to grow up. It is to be noted here that in May the Division bench of the High Court consisting the Chief Justice Dipak Kumar Gupta and Justice Swapan Ch Das terminated the 10323 teachers jobs (including Post Graduate Graduate and Under Graduate teachers) recruited by the School Education Department, Govt of Tripura from 2010 to 2013. The Division Bench not only terminated their job but also said the ' Recruitment Policy as 'Unconstitutional.' Challenging the High Court Judgement State Govt moved to Supreme Court.

Speaking to TIWN over phone this morning senior advocate Arun Anti Bhowmik said," Its true that today the case will not be raised for Hearing. Actually the notices against all respondents have not been issued and the report of issuing of such notices too has not reached to the Register. Hopefully the Register may take a decision on the date of next hearing. But it is not certain. Everything will be clear by this evening."

Meanwhile, renowned advocate Abhishek Manu Singbhi will appeal for time to present his reply in the 10323 terminated teachers jobs. Today Singhbhi may appear before the Register or on his behalf a junior advocate may appear before the Register. Singbhi is the Prosecution Lawyer on behalf of the deprived unemployed youths , who challenged the State Govt's recruitment of 10323 teachers appointed time to time since 2010. Thus, the uncertainty still prevails over the fate of the terminated teachers. Many believe that any delay regarding the hearing may even become fatal to them as the High Court categorically mentioned in its judgement that 10323 teachers jobs are valid up to 31st December,2014.
