AGARTALA, Aug 25 (TIWN): Money extortion in GB hospital is continuing by a section of staffs and knowing everything well senior staffs are sidelining the issues.

Per patient the trolley carrying staffs are grabbing at least 100 to 200 rupees and their excused often remain as “It is not my duty”, “I am nurse, appointed for other works” etc.

In emergency the patients can’t do anything except begging their helps.

Due to such a negligence on August 2 a patient turned paralyzed who was undergoing stroke.

These are everyday issue and allegations are unending. Even partiality is being done in case of ICU allocation and maximum times ICUs left with no seat available even for emergency.

Staffs have also complained that they have trolley crisis in the hospital.
