CM called for International Investments in Tripura's Health-Care sector

Agartala, Aug 14 (TIWN): Chief Minister Shri Biplab Kumar Deb on Saturday has called for international investment in Tripura while addressing in the 11th Foundation Day Programme of Tripura Institute of Paramedical Science at the college campus, Hapania. He also mentioned about the possibility of health-based tourism in Tripura by improving the State’s overall health sector through PPP model.

‘Health care is the area of service’. Shri Biplab Kumar Deb repeatedly asked to work keeping this on mind. He said that the patients feel partially well if the services are properly given in the hospital. He urged everyone not to just work with the business mind but also with the mentality of of giving service to the mankind. 

 
He said Tripura is very significant in geographical point of view. Not only from the state  but many patients from Bangladesh gi to Chennai to receive proper health services. If those patients come to Tripura instead of going to Chennai then a minimum revenue of 200-250 crore rupees can be generated. Shri Deb also called for building modernised hospitals in PPP model in Tripura for this purpose. He called upon various international organizations to invest in health sector of Tripura. Chief Minister also said that different organizations have been called by Tripura Government already.
 
Shri Biplab Kumar Deb on this day said that the BJP has formed a Government in Tripura with a responsibility of 13,000 crore rupees. From that point, the revenue collection in the state has now increased to 26 %. Shri Biplab Kumar Deb said that development of the state is gaining momentum due to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He said Tripura would not be kept in debt. The Chief Minister emphasized on promoting health-based tourism on this day.
 
Tripura is blessed with in natural and spiritual tourism. Side by side, Tripura's economy will prosper if the health care services are alao improved. He urged the youths to come forward to build an optimistic state  by keeping distance with those who are pessimistic. Also on this day, the Chief Minister said that an idea of opening a  museum containing memories of S.D Barman and R.D Barman has been proposed in contact with renowned music artist Asha Bhonsle. The Chief Minister is hoping for the positive support from Asha Bhonsle.
 
On this day, the Chief Minister talked about introducing PG courses and various hospital management courses at Paramedical College. Finally he concluded his speech by thanking everyone present. Tripura Central University Vice-Chancellor Prof V.L Dharorkar and MLA Shri Ramprasad Pal and others were also present on the occasion of the 11th Foundation Day of TIPS.
