KAMALPUR, Oct 24 (TIWN) : 118th Maharas Yatra Utsav and Mela is just 10 days away to commence. And to make it grand success and pompous, the prepartion of the organizers as well as the administration are at full swing. The yearly festivity of the Bishnupriya Manipuri community to celebrate the divine memeories of Lord Krishna and his other friends and girl-friends during incarnation at the holy land of Brindaban,has touched its 118th anniversary this year.

Traditionally, the festival is celebrated with the governmental aid. This year, too, the Dhalai District administration is all set to celebrate the festival. Different govt. departments and individual businessmen are already contacted with the committee to set up their stalls. With great enthusiasm and spirit, the festival is set to be celebrated. The Maharas Yatra Utsav and Committee seeks co-operation and presence of all sect of people to make their effort a grand success like previous years.
