Tripura CM planted Rudraksh tree at CM’s quarter

AGARTALA, July 22 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has planted Rudraksh tree at Chief Minister’s quarter today.

The Chief Minister said, he has been blessed to get chance to plant this tree.

“The term 'Rudraksha' is originated from Sanskrit & is a combination of two words 'Rudra' means 'Shiva' & 'Aksha' means 'Eyes'. The Rudraksha tree is believed to have originated from Lord Shiva's tears”, CM said in his social media page.

Biplab Deb has started mission for Green Tripura, challenged to increase the greenery layers of the state.

Almost everyday, state is participating in Vanmohotsav programme along with 3 more movements as : Clean Tripura, Plastic Free Tripura, Save Water vision.

National Highways and Tourist spot routes are selected for massive plantation.
