AGARTALA, July 3 (TIWN): Politics and political leaders’ promises and hypes now a days have become jokes for common men, digested as if “pakodas” with tea, coffee. Mostly young generation, hardly give any value to the political promises and statements. Just like Tripura Education Minister Ratanlal Nath on yesterday said, NCERT has considered Tripura as model of Teachers-Training after BJP Govt came in power and started teachers training, public reacted to his claim to show “evidence” of NCERT’s statement. The Minister’s image left unserious and light with his biggest ever lie that he can recruit 14,000 teachers if get eligible candidates and later ended by cancelling TET exam and minimum numbers of teachers recruitment advertisement. While addressing media in a review meeting after teachers training, Tripura Education Minister Ratanlal Nath has claimed that such type of teachers’ training was only invented by BJP Govt in the state and no other Govt has done this before.

Nath also claimed, NCERT has appreciated Tripura Govt’s move and idea of teachers’ training and asking other states to follow Tripura as model.

The previous Govt eventhough was blamed for massive unemployment problems of Tripura, but time to time recruitments were done and in each week former Finance Minister Bhanulal Saha calling media, announced job creation. But BJP even though came in power by promising to fillup 50,000 vacant posts in Govt Depts, but after 11 months of passage instead of recruiting Govt has continued cancelling existing recruitments. With High Court’s intervention, situation has been developed as Court directed for recruitment against illegally cancelled recruitment process.

Promising 50,000 Govt Jobs will be given in the first one year the Govt is formed with 7 lakh unemployed youths votebanks, but since 1 year 6 months of the BJP Govt there has been massive termination, abolition of Govt posts, cancellation of existing recruitments.

Earlier when Law and Education Minister Ratanlal Nath said that the TET advertisement was given by mistake by cancelling recruitments, the victims raised question, when Education Minister says often that 14,000 teachers will be recruited immediately if he gets eligible job aspirants, but for 3172 teachers there is no vacant post under the Education Dept.

In similar way, BJP Govt earlier had cancelled all existing recruitments affecting over thousands of job aspirants, but before the election, BJP promised that 50,000 vacant posts will be fulfilled in the first year.
