KAMALPUR, Oct. 20 (TIWN): Another major scam being unearthed in this scam-prone leftist regime led by "Mr Clean". And now its turn for DWS ( Drinking Water and Sanitation) Dept., Kamalpur Division. The vigilance squad found misappropriation of 63,00,000 rupees in the context of setting up a water treatment plant at Salema under this Division for the financial year 2010-2011.Last Saturday the vigilance squad suddenly visited the DWS Division and found this huge embezzlement. The local authority left no stone unturned to suppress the fact from media.But a highly placed source of the department informed TIWN about the scam. Interestingly, the water treatment plant is being implemented for years together, funds spent shown in paper but no work was done. In Salema subdivision of DWS, three Assistant Engineers namely Aswini Debbarma, Praloy Chakraborty and Suman Chakraborty found guilty of this embezzlement, according to vigilance report.

However, the Executive Engineer of DWS,Kamalpur Division denied to speake in the matter. It is notable that, many associated with the department are of the view that much more scams will come out if proper investigation is done strictly.
