Rajnagar, Belonia, October 17 (TIWN): Many MGNREGA workers of Ekinpur Gram Panchayat raised their compliant to the BDO Rajnagar as they are not getting wages since January 2014 and afterwards they gheraoed the BDO.

 BDO Rajnagar said to the workers that this is the fault of Bank Manager of Ekinpur Bank. But workers were not satisfied by the clarification of the BDO.

After getting assurance from the Sabhadhipathi the workers took of their agitation. Block development officer (BDO) Crossed his limits for financial misdeeds particularly in MGNREGA and BADP Scheme, a worker said.

It is to mentioned here that, DM South had already visited the Rajnagar BLock and found many drawbacks in financial matter and reports to the RD Department instantly. But no such steps were taken from the government  department either. Financial transparency is missing in almost all Account BILLs/Bouchers.

Moreover, Ex MLA Amal Mallik Congress President of South Tripura demand for CBI inquiry for Rajnagar. If CBI enquiry is being imposed the picture of Bishalgarh RD block may be casted in the case of Rajnagar, he added.

He also asserted that BDO Rajnagar has a link with CPIM Party leader and so he is still acting as BDO Rajnagar after doing all corrupted misdeeds. Government should vigil and audit the present situation raised by common people of Rajnagar to deal with corruption.
