AGARTALA, May 13 (TIWN): Tripura's power shift to BJP on March 3rd, 2018 from CPI-M Govt after 25 years of one-way Left regime, but in all ways Tripura people are experiencing negative developments either its unemployment problem or its MGNREA mandays. Along with other problems, what the people of Tripura are facing is massive “poll rigging” and “prevention of voters” on polling days. Tripura developed an ugly culture under BJP which was never alleged in Tripura that’s snatching of people’s fundamental voting rights. When Tripura was known for 90% voting percentage, within 14 months of Biplab Deb Govt it has downed at 70%. On yesterday the voting percentage remained at 73%. Congress MP candidate Subal Bhowmik has slammed BJP Govt saying even if by-election is conducted voting percentage goes 85%. However, even though nationally condemned, Tripura BJP party continues attempts to prove the party as innocent. As BJP could not do rigging on yesterday like 11th April, thus the party has raised various allegations against the opposition parties and CEO Sriram Taranikanti accusing him as biased.

BJP on Sunday has desperately blamed the Central forces accusing them for terrorizing voters.BJP MP candidate Pratima Bhowmik going one step ahead said, each of the BSF jawans including Tripura Police, TSR acted as opposition party workers.

Bhowmik blamed central forces saying that due to central force people didn’t come out of houses for voting.

CPI-M on Sunday after the re-poll for West Tripura constituency completed, said that the poll was not 100% peaceful as many voters could not come out for votes.

On being asked by media whether CPI-M will demand re-poll in the crucial booths which were rigged today, Gautam Das that CPI-M will not demand but the party will wait for the Supreme Court hearing about re-poll.

BJP’s dare to attack common men on poll day has been termed by Congress as “Shamelessness”.

On yesterday night across Tripura massive violence was sponsored to generate terror for the future polls to stop oppositions to participate either as polling agent or as voters to cast votes.
