AGARTALA, May 5 (TIWN): The terror which was attempted to be created by Chief Minister Biplab Deb recently centering a news published about his family problems, is now counter-attacked as West Agartala Police are already under law’s scanner. Either filing fabricated case against TIWN, or illegally arresting journalist Saikat Talapatra but police now are already under severe pressure to prove their activities as valid. In case of blocking Tripurainfoway.com facebook page, court may ask West Agartala OC-Subrata Chakraborty about the details of furnished reports against TIWN where no criminal offence could be proved, whereas in case of arrested journalist Saikat Talapatra police have allegedly taken illegal action by arrested him without any prior notice just for a facebook post which is noway a defamatory post. In this situation, police are under severe problems after they followed Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s illegal orders. At least 30 Congress youths more 30 CPI-M youths were booked just for they reacted on a post or shared the news.

In the same way, Congress’s one of the top leaders Tapas Dey was also harassed by DIG Arindam Nath, Police of West Tripura just for he commented on a post.

Another dirty intrigue has been committed by Biplab Deb Govt which will be countered in coming days. Without any notice serving to the accused side (TIWN), police within 24 hours of lodging FIR against TIWN Editor submitted report in court and court without any delay on that very day gave verdict of blocking TIWN, within few hours it went to American domain via Central Govt. First of all, the hearing pronounced by M Das will be challenged and whether such a website blocking issue can come under court verdict it will be questioned.

Tripura Journalist Saikat Talapatra was arrested illegally by West Agartala Police violating Supreme Court of India’s guidelines, advocate Purushottom Roy Barman has confirmed media after the journalist was released on bail.

However, just like SP West Ajit Pratap Singh faced jolts from High Court, now Police also to face the fire for misusing power by violating the constitution.
