AGARTALA, April 30 (TIWN): After Election Commission of India suspended four Govt employees from Govt jobs for sending fake report to Centre Election Commission about poll-rigging, Chief Minister Biplab Deb today has blamed CEO Siram Taranikanti for not taking action on BJP’s any demand.
Biplab Deb also alleged, whatever as a party President he told the CEO, he never listened.
He said, BJP demanded action against Congress National President Rahul Gandhi after he said in Khumlwng that after result out a Congress Govt will be formed in Tripura.
At least 3 micro-observers and 2 presiding officers in the West Tripura constituency were suspended by Election of India (ECI) after spotting their roles manipulating on the poll day.
Sangram Singha Tripura was one of the electoral officers, who is a lecturer of Tripura Veterinary College.
The action was taken as in CCTV camera, videos massive booth capturing was found but these micro-observers’ report didn’t mention anything like that.
School teacher Giridhari Das was suspended in Dhanpur booth capturing.
Opposition CPI-M and Congress have demanded fresh re-poll in the whole West Tripura constituency.
