100 polling booths’ cameras disability exposed after EC sent special Central Observer to monitor East Tripura Poll

AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, April 23 (TIWN): After Election Commission of India (ECI) sent Special Central Observer Vinod Zutshi to monitor East Tripura Election, disability of 100 polling stations’ booths was revealed.
After the revelation, East Tripura RO (Dhalai DM) Vikash Singh has spent all night to restore the cameras and the work hasn’t completed till now (5.30 am).
Total 197 cameras in 359 booths were found disable under the direct involvement of Dilip Dam, Area Manager of “Pho-Com-Net Pvt Ltd” and its owner Dipak Biswas.
Dhalai DM has issued notice both Dilip Dam and Dipak Biswas.
