AGARTALA , April 18 (TIWN): TIWN’s crusade continue to save Democracy in Tripura. TRIPURAINFOWAY.com (TIWN) Editor on Thursday has asked East Tripura voters to cast their valuable vote at any cost to save Democracy and defeat evil forces. TIWN Editor at the same time has hit BJP’s Criminal gang under the leadership of leaders like Pratima Bhowmik, Krishnadhan Das, Ramprasad Pal. Addressing media live from USA, Saumen Sarkar said, “I have no language to condemn the poll-rigging of 11th April. It only displays how such criminals are sitting on Chief Minister’s chair and Ministers’ posts. These cowards don’t have courage to face to people in democratic way. What did they do ? The Police control room was opened as Rigging-control room at the Police headquarter on that day which was run by tainted Additional DGP Rajiv Singh. Rajiv Singh planwise paralyzed the security system and ordered the central forces to go in such places, which was unattached by any election”.

“The police headquarter turned the rigging headquarter of BJP. In this way, on the one side Pratima Bhowmik led criminals who were also hired from other states captured booths, stopped voters to come out of houses for voting. The criminals were hired from Bangladesh, Assam, Bihar and many places. Then, fake vote casting started at massive level. Presiding officer was bound to sit silently in murder threat. Opposition parties no polling agent was allowed to stay in those booths”, said Saumen Sarkar.

“The rigging went to that level that at Golaghati total 925 voters were there whereas 962 votes were casted. That was the level of EVM pressing spree by the BJP on 11th April”, said the Editor.

The Editor also called voters to be the ‘Hero’ of Tripura and cast vote anyhow, by overcoming fears just like Pujashree Debnath, raising question, “If being a girl Pujashree (of Suryamaninagar) can cast vote, why other people can not cast vote?”

For the voters of 23rd April, Saumen Sarkar advised them to go in groups and if any obstacle is faced and police do not help then to do their own help, saying “If police do not help then we have to save democracy”.

Calling Law Minister Ratanlal Nath, BJP spokesperson Ashok Sinha like leaders as Political prostitutes, Saumen Sarkar said, “We have to identify the political prostitutes of the society. Biplab Deb has come from Delhi and Pratima Bhowmik came from with a dark past of Dhanpur. They are criminals and criminality will be their nature. But I blame Ratan Lal Nath, Ashok Sinha, Dilip Das like persons who are acting just puppets of criminals”.

“The same leaders after such a farcical election on 11th April said that Election was peaceful”, he added.

“Those who are afraid of BJP goons, take lesson from Pujashree Debnath of Suryamaninagar whose video is viral where she was able to cast vote against all odds. This is your responsibility to save the democracy”, said Saumen Sarkar.
