AGARTALA, April 16 (TIWN): Tripura’s most corrupt Police officer cum Biplab Deb’s close friend Rajiv Singh finally removes by EC suddenly as EC’s Police Observers found ADGP Rajiv Singh’s direct involvement in April 11 Poll rigging. Biplab Deb regime’s massive brutality under police machinery, attacks on media and journalists were held under none other than but corrupt Additional DGP Rajiv Singh and the previous two elections at the local body were rigged under the design of Rajiv Sigh who was dropped from CBI after Nirav Modi led scam nexus exposed and sent in Tripura who started acting like a “chamcha” of Biplab Deb in exchange of Rajiv Singh’s son’s admission in Tripura Cricket Team and many unknown interests. Noteworthy, Noteworthy, behind each attack on TIWN it has been Additional DGP Rajiv Singh's involvement. It was never possible for Pratima Bhowmik, Biplab Deb to continue attacks on the opposition, common men, media like this. However, after misusing police machinery for one year under Rajiv Singh, manipulating two local body elections today Election Commission of India has transferred Rajib Singh from Election dept.

 It will likely bring major relief for the opposition as Rajiv Singh has been the main culprit behind Govt nexus state violence and manipulating interrogations.

Opposition parties have slammed the Home Ministry led by Chief Minister Biplab Deb saying where does the law and order standing that it suddenly became uncontrolled ? Congress held a latenight press conference after the announcement, whereas for West Tripura constituency Congress will go to Supreme Court in demand of repolling. Addressing press meet, CEO Sriram Taranikanti said that what happened on 11th April, we don’t to repeat it again. As a result for preparation and more security forces arrangements this election has been deferred.

From West Tripura election, massive rigging has been launched by ruling BJP which has been continuing for East Tripura also. BJP also issues notices infront of houses saying if anyone comes to cast vote their condition will be like a “Beheaded Chicken”. With that notice cut chickens’ heads were also pinned on the main gates of the voters. “The poll for 2 Tripura East ( ST) pc on 18th April has been deferred to 23rd April, 2019”, confirmed the Election Commission. Across the state, BJP goons are rushing house to house threatening voters not to come out on election day.

However, unlike West Tripura, East Tripura voters were unready to accept BJP’s hooliganism led tension. In this situation, the poll has been deferred, whereas Election Commission yet to announce details of the violence. Public and opposition parties are happy with the election deferring decision of the commission.

Also there are heavy chances of re-polling at the West Tripura’s maximum booths which were rigged by BJP MP candidate Pratima Bhowmik.

Additional DGP Rajiv Singh whose PCs were seized by CBI in Nirav Modi case, was posted in Tripura claiming to control law and order, whereas Tripura’s law and order according to media report spiked up ever then before.

However, there are double major allegations against the present Additional DGP. In June 2018 national media had been shaken with news of former Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Joint DirectorRajiv Singh’s compromise with Nirav Modi scam investigations after the e-mail account of Singh was allegedly hacked. Immediately Rajiv Singh’s computers were seized and mail was blocked. More shockingly, CBI immediately terminated Rajiv Singh, then was sent to his parent cadre Tripura. In a TV interview on that time MP Subramanian Swamy said, at highest bureaucratic level it’s shocking corruption, but PM Modi is cleaning the administration now.Even though it was said that Rajiv Singh was appointed as the Additional DGP on Tripura Govt’s request, but national media didn’t agree the fact, rather exposed Rajiv Singh’s corruption to save various financial crimes. Singh became the biggest controversy and his computers were seized followed by National media's resentment over Singh's removal from CBI to send Tripura.
