AGARTALA, April 16 (TIWN): East Tripura constituency poll has been deferred from 18th April to 23rd April due to heavy violence across the state. From West Tripura election, massive rigging has been launched by ruling BJP which has been continuing for East Tripura also. BJP also issues notices infront of houses saying if anyone comes to cast vote their condition will be like a “Beheaded Chicken”. With that notice cut chickens’ heads were also pinned on the main gates of the voters. “The poll for 2 Tripura East ( ST) pc on 18th April has been deferred to 23rd April, 2019”, confirmed the Election Commission. Across the state, BJP goons are rushing house to house threatening voters not to come out on election day. However, unlike West Tripura, East Tripura voters were unready to accept BJP’s hooliganism, they said in advance. In this situation, the poll has been deferred, whereas Election Commission yet to announce details of the violence. Public and opposition parties are happy with the election deferring decision of the commission.

Earlier, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh denied to deploy enough securities in Tripura, which has been resulted in worst outcomes.

BJP’s youth icon, marked criminal who attacked oppositions many times, plotted various attacks on opposition leaders including slapping former Finance Minister Bhanulal Saha, Bishalgarh’s culprit Nabadul Banik has been given charge of poll rigging for the East Tripura.

Under Chief Minister Biplab Deb era’s brutal tortures today house to house murder-threat notices have been pasted along with a cut chicken’s head in the East Tripura. Such incidents maximum have taken place at Khowai.

BJP making dirty plans also to rig the East Tripura just like West and surprisingly, Pratima Bhowmik, BJP MP candidate moving across East Tripura unrestricted even after CEO Sriram Taranikanti was complained with video footage of Pratima Bhowmik’s murder threat to an IPS Officer during her massive nightmarely poll violence.

All these instances proves Tripura just has been handedover to some criminals to rule the state against whom no administrative power is able to fight back. 

CEO Sriram Taranikanti has remained as a failed EC representative and opposition has demanded his removal from his electoral position.
