Kanchanpur, April 10 (TIWN): Tripura’s former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has hit BJP Chief Minister Biplab Deb while addressing in Kanchanpur rally for delaying TET qualified, B.Ed holder uneployed job aspirants’ appointments. Sarkar slammed also the “Cholo Paltai” slogan as the biggest mistake of unemployed youths and those voters who trusted BJP for once. The former Chief Minister also accused Biplab Deb for telling the job aspirants due to various issues like fund crisis, BJP Govt is delaying appointments. Manik Sarkar further took digs on the mounting employed youths numbers in the state since BJP assumed in power. He also asked Chief Minister Biplab Deb to compare the rate of teachers appointment in Left Front Govt’s time and the ongoing BJP-IPFT Govt’s era.

BJP Govt has crosses 1-year of its Govt in Tripura, but 50000 vacant posts’ filling up promise left unfulfilled, whereas Chief Minister Biplab Deb taking 180 degree turn has openly denied for any such promise, even though all scripted in Vision Document. Recently with another shocking reveltion, it was unearthed that 791 TET qualified unemployed youths are striving to get jobs, when Tripura Govt is crying over teachers’ crisis and managed “Special Relaxation” for teachers recruitment with false claim of teachers crisis. Since the beginning, Education Minister Ratanlal Nath was crying foul about teachers’ crisis, whereas TIWN time to time has been reporting that around 7000 ongoing and passed out B.Ed holding candidates in Tripura are left jobless. So, Govt could recruit them massively by maintaining quality education.

Instead of recruiting B.Ed holders, TET qualifiers, Govt of Tripura managed permission from centre for “special relaxation” in teachers recruitment which says even engineers may also apply for teachers job.

Being asked by media in month of March-2019, what about BJP’s pre-poll promise on ‘50000 Govt jobswhich will be given in the first one year of the Govt formation’, Biplab Deb replied, “BJP never ever promised that. What we promised, I can clearly memorize. BJP said that house-to-house job opportunities will be given to youths, but I think due to oppositions’ fake propaganda it is happening”.

Deb further clarified, not jobs but giving ‘Rojgar’ is BJP Govt’s target. But how is it possible the major promise in the Vision Document Biplab Deb does not know ??? Earlier also Biplab Deb advised unemployed youths to rear cows and open paan-shops.Recently, in a party programme, Biplab deb had insulted opposition leaders by calling them as “Beggars with katoras” after they sought jobs for unemployed youths in the Assembly.

BJP before the election had promised to recruit 50,000 unemployed youths in 50,000 vacant posts, but after the election, the Govt is going just in the opposite direction.

Instead of recruiting, BJP Govt has cancelled all existing recruitments. Most surprisingly Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) which is autonomous body, has cancelled many recruitments, which were going since two years.

Finance Dept in notification No.F 9 (2) FIN (G)/ 2017/ 711 dated December 17, 2018 said that Tripura having the “highest numbers of Govt employees” and there is no need of any more Govt employee unless the posts are vacated by surrender or retirement. The order said, “Tripura has the highest level of Govt employment in the country. The level of employment is double in Tripura in compare to the states like Meghalaya. Needless to say, there is need to be extremely prudent in the matter of further recruitments”.

The notification further says, “Creation of posts will be strictly depend of availability with budgetary resources with Department concerned. Each dept has a number of posts created in the past, which are vacant and no longer required. Hence whenever a department submits a proposal of post creation it should be accompanied with surrender/ abolition of posts with equivalent financial  implications”. In the order it was also mentioned if rules are not followed, then dire consequences will be seen and already Education Dept was issued with a fresh notice for show-cause.

BJP’s pre-poll promises turned JUMLA, now under media rage and social media rage. 8882271955 number was given to unemployed youths by BJP saying, it will give them job once they give one missed-call in it, but after 1 year of passage this 8882271955 number is saying switched off.
