AGARTALA, April 7 (TIWN): BJP, RSS’s culture has become a threat to Northeast tradition and culture, was proven once again in Tripura when breaking all the rules on Modi’s arrival Tripura Sundari Goddess’s door was opened, when it was the Goddess’s resting hours.
Modi’s rally at first was said at 11.30 am and so there was no re-plan in the temple about any tradition needs to be changed, but Modi arrived after Bengal rally in the afternoon and after his rally, he visited Tripura Sundari temple and BJP local leaders forced the priest to open the door of the Goddess in this odd time.
Public have alleged, it has broken all tradition of the 518 years old temple.
Since 518 years, it’s tradition that at 1.30 pm Goddess Tripura Sundari is offered ‘Bhog’ and till 3 pm she takes rest and the temple door is kept closed. On that time various rituals outside the temple go on.
Breaking 518 years rule, Modi reached at 2.30 pm and thus the temple was opened in odd time.
Controversy has been erupted centering Modi’s violation of Tripura’s culture.
Recently, another dark episode was revealed about the temple under BJP era that Goddess’s many jewelries are missing since Biplab Deb Govt made a counting programme for the jewelries.
Tripura Sundari Temple is a Hindu temple of Goddess Tripura Sundari, better known locally as Devi Tripureshwari. The temple is situated in the ancient city of Udaipur, about 55 km from Agartala, Tripura and can be reached by train and road from Agartala.
In a similar attack BJP recently changed colour of Agartala Durga Bari from while to “saffron” which was downed after Royal family raised voice.
