AGARTALA, April 2 (TIWN): College of Agriculture, Tripura, established in 2007, is a professional degree college for agriculture in Agartala, Tripura has no affiliation from ICAR leading massive suffering for the passed out students.

After B.SC exam to get chance for M.Sc in Agriculture one has to take admission under an exam held under NTA.

But for that the College of B.Sc must be ICAR recognition according to the new rule whereas Tripura Agriculture College doesn’t have any recognition from ICAR yet.

Even though Tripura Agriculture College comes under UGC but allegedly due to both CPI-M and BJP Govt’s negligence the College has not received the affiliation from ICAR.

Tripura Agricultural Science Society has raised question, if Minister Santana Chakma can manage Veterinary College’s affiliation in one day, then why can’t Agriculture Minister Pranajit Singha Roy do this ?

The blame has gone to the Director DP Sarkar who is allegedly responsible for all ongoing corruption in the Agriculture Dept. Also job opportunities have been curbed.

Eventhough various propagandas are going on about Fasal Bima Yojna but in whole Tripura only 1200 farmers were benefited from the scheme.
