AGARTALA, March 30 (TIWN): A school student was allegedly murdered, whereas police left without any clue about the accused persons.
Addressing media, the victim’s mother said, “My son Joy on March 20 went out around 11 am with his friends and they gossiped near the river barrage. Then when he returned, I was not at home but my daughter informed me that Joy came and again was called by his friends and thus he left the home. He told my daughter that he is going to play”.
“Then after two hours I went to his friend Joydeep’s house in search of my son, but Joydeep said, he doesn’t know where is Joy, but quite surprisingly around 4 pm he sat for his lunch. Then his friends came after few times and sought money for scooty’s fuel so that they can search my son. They asked 50 rupees, I gave 500 rupees so that they can find out my son”, she said and broke down in cries.
“Actually the are the criminals murdered my son. Three persons were in the scooty Rituraj Deb, Jaoydeep Pal who took money from me, whereas another boy Sagnik was with them, who didn’t take any money from me”, she said.
“For 3 days long we searched for him, but didn’t get. On March 20 we registered a missing dairy at West PS. On 23rd March the mandal-people (ruling party members) informed us that Joy’s body was found and kept in GB. Then I identified my son”.
Till day no accused was arrested.
Opposition party Congress has backed the family with legal support.
