AGARTALA, March 19 (TIWN): Tripura’s Law & Order now stooped down to such low level that, as part of Politically motivated revenge against TIWN, arrogant SP West Ajit Pratap Singh even dared to ignore Tripura High Court’s Jan 17,2019 order asking Police to ensure no further harassments or illegal unannounced visits to TIWN Editor Saumen Sarkar’s senior citizen Agartala resident parents. But Police on 14th March,2019 at 3pm entered TIWN Editor’s parents home illegally and harassed TIWN Editor’s father which is a serious contempt of High Court’s Jan 17 order.

After Advocate Bhaskar Debbarma sent legal notice of Contempt of HC order on 15th March, SP West Ajit Pratap Singh replied on 16th march,2019 that he is not aware of any Police visits to TIWN Editor parents home but SP West’s dirty game is exposed by CCTV footage. Police party were unaware that CCTV recorded the Police’s illegal entry to TIWN Editor’s parents Agartala home, Police harassed TIWN Editor’s 80 yrs old father Gopal Sarkar who has hearing disability, then threatened with dire consequences unless his USA based son closes down TIWN Portal. 

TIWN Editor Parents will submit CCTV footage to Tripura High Court and proceed for contempt of High Court order against SP West & Police officials.

SP West Ajit Pratap Singh led Police officials under the instruction of Chief Minister Biplab Deb, Addl DGP Rajiv Singh dared to commit Contempt of High Court order which is a grave illegal act which High Court will decide the next course of action.

SP West Ajit Pratap replied in below letter that he is not aware of any Police officials visit to TIWN Editor Parent’s home on March 14,2019, which directly implies that either SP West is incapable to control his unruly bribe-happy police force or he purposefully violated High Court’s order by ordering Police harassment but acting like he is unaware of Police harassments to TIWN Editor’s parents.
