AGARTALA, March 17 (TIWN): CPI-M MP Jitendra Chaudhury said, he is 99% sure that IPFT candidate of East Tripura seat who is none other than IPFT President cum Minister NC Debbarma will give up before election before Lok Sabha election.

Jitendra Chaudhury said, both candidates of IPFT will give up seats.

Chaudhury was addressing in a party programme where only CPI-M committee members were present. He said, if it was a public-rally he would not had said this.

Tripura Assembly Election to be held on April 11 and April 18. There are two seats : East Tripura (ST reserve) and West Tripura (unreserved).

IPFT is in align with BJP. Amid BJP’s objection, IPFT announced candidates names whereas CPI-M East Tripura candidate Jitendra Chaudhury said that NC Debbarma will give up the East Tripura seat along with S.Noatia (IPFT West Tripura candidate) and align with BJP again.

Chaudhury also said, NC Debbarma doesn’t have any character (self respect) or cast and will support BJP at the end.
