AGARTALA, March 14 (TIWN): BJP’s pre-poll major promises to the unemployed youths are now turning heavy upon the Govt as the biggest promise of ‘50000 Govt jobs in the first year could not completed and not even 5000 jobs under Govt Dept could be given. At the same time, arrogance of the ruling Govt to unemployed youths forcing them to file legal cases against the Govt. Under the previous Govt all recruitments were cancelled by the new Govt and many of the job aspirants who were almost ready to get offer letters in hand, were shocked after Law Dept announces ‘all existing jobs are cancelled’. Without fulfilling any promise done to the unemployed youths, BJP is now again confident of winning Lok Sabha election. From TCS to TSR all job aspirants are now knocking High Court as the present govt has cancelled all the ongoing recruitments in totally illegal manner.

Tripura High Court has issued a notice to the State Govt of Tripura seeking reply within April 6 after a petition was filed in the court against the Govt led cancellation of TSR appointment which was under process of recruitment. The interview had taken place in 2016 under the then Left Govt.Total 7 states’ candidates had appeared in the interview : 1) Tamilnadu, 2) Rajasthan, 3) Andra Pradesh, 4) Himachal Pradesh, 5) West Bengal, 6) Bihar, 7) Uttar Pradesh, 8) Tripura.

After interviews, selection of candidates had been done and tokens were given.Police verification of 5 states were also completed. On that time, journalist Sudip Datta Bhoumik’s murder incident delayed 2 states’ verifications.

The offer letters were prepared, but due to election announcement, offer letters could not be distributed.Total 372 candidates from Tripura and 136 from other states were selected.

But BJP Govt cancelled the whole recruitment process. Then 133 job aspirants filed a petition in the High Court. High Court Justice Arindam Lodh in a hearing sought reply of notice citing cause for cancellation of the recruitments.

Various sources said, in coming days many job claimers will file petition in High Court to get their rights.

On this background, BJP will lose a major part of its vote banks among the unemployed youths as the previous Govt has been already proven as 5 times more capable of giving govt jobs.
