AGARTALA, March 8 (TIWN): When Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at the edge of its deadline ending has proven as a corruption den for states and Modi’s photoshoot tool, now Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has claimed that Swachh Bharat was not only about to clean the city, but was also about brining cleanliness sense inside people. Biplab Deb on Friday while addressing at Agartala Rabindra Bhawan on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2019, claimed that it was only Prime Minister Narendra Modi who introduced girls’ toilet in schools and earlier only very few schools had such systems. Biplab Deb also mentioned, due to increase in the numbers of toilets, percentage of girl-students have increased nationwide schools. “The day when Prime Minister Narendra Modi started Swachh Bharat Abjiyan many people had taunted him saying what kind of project it is and what development it could bring, but today when we post anything regarding Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, likes are highest in those posts”.“It was not only about the idea that brooms will clean India, but the Swachhata (cleanliness) was aimed to boost inside human beings and that why the introduction of toilets brought under Yojna”.

“In case of schools, earlier many Prime Ministers, leaders led the country and also time to time slogans raised for equal-ratio of girls and boys attendance in school. But dialogues were given by all whereas action was taken by Narendra Modi. Now, in upper classes also percentage of boys-girls are equal”, he added in his tall claims about Narendra Modi. “Modi works in practical grounds, not only to cross the election vessel and if anybody invented ways to strengthen women power, it was only Narendra Modi”, he said. “In Tripura total 1 lakh 35 thousand toilets were made. What Tripura Govt did to save women was to free the state from drug empire”, Biplab Deb claimed amid BJP leaders led allegation against General Secretary Pratima Bhowmik, her brother Biswajit Bhowmik and their followers drug nexus”, Biplab Deb said. Moreover, National data revealed that highest drug consumer state is now Tripura increased 10% raise in BJP era. He also announced that crime against women has been downed in Tripura by 7%.
