AGARTALA, March 8 (TIWN): Resentments have erupted among unemployed youths who appeared in the interview on Thursday at Job fair 2019. The unemployed youths who appeared in the interview, alleged that in newspapers advertisements were given to recruit 243 Branch-Executives, whereas after reaching at the interview spot, they found interviews were going on for sales-executives. Moreover, no proper interview was taken, rather few paper checking was conducted and then they faced few arrogant people who were discarding candidates having below 60% in graduation in insulting manners and bad attitudes. A Branch Banking Executive is responsible of thebranch operations. He learns about handling every area of the branch like the macro environment, traditional and modern day banking, regulations, types of clearing instruments, different products, services, and loans, managing a branch, and so on. Sales executives are the key point of contact between an organisation and its clients: answering queries, offering advice and introducing new products.

Their work includes: organising sales visits., demonstrating and presenting products: establishing new business. However, a total chaos was created in the name of job fairs, even though the employment dept is hoping huge recruitment from Tripura. This is the second Job Fair under Biplab Deb Govt and the last job fair was held in 2018, ended with horrifying outcomes. The last year job fair resulted in scams as State Govt had invited some textile companies which are already running under losses. They simply picked up cheap labours from Tripura. Last year around 500 unemployed youths were sent in South Indian companies but those companies kept them just like daily workers at Rs. 150 per day. At last many youths escaped from those companies as the companies were torturing them by not allowing to return state. After bitter experience in the last year, Govt of Tripura once again has called for Job Fair but with limited seats so that liability can be ensured. Addressing media, Balin Debbarma, Director of Employment Service & Man Power Panning said, “All willing candidates were told by the department to come in Dr BR Ambedkar High School for interview. For 243 posts huge numbers of unemployed youths have gathered”. Total 10 companies are there, whereas companies from Bangladesh and other countries are also here. Dept is hoping all the vacant seats will be fulfilled. Tripura’s unemployment rate is over 25% and the state tops in unemployment rate. In last 1 year the unemployment rate has been doubled under the BJP Govt, whereas they came in power with lies of 50,000 Govt jobs will be given in the first one year.
