New Delhi / Agartala, March 7 (TIWN): Sitaram Yechury on Wednesday after meeting Election Commissioner Sunil Arora said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is exposed in front of people on how they are playing there selfish politics. Sitaram Yechury said, "BJP is using the martyrdom and sacrifice of our brave jawans for their political purpose".

"India's fight is against terrorism, not against Opposition or Kashmiris. The Prime Minister of the country is trying to break the unity of the country. People are seeing all this and will give the answer". 

CPI-M delegates led by Party National General Secretary Sitaram Yechury and PBM Nilotpal Basu, CPI-M Tripura General Secretary Gautam Das, Tripura’s three MPs Jitendra Chowdhury,Sankar Prasad Datta, Jharna Das Baidya met Chief Election Commissioner of India Sunil Arora and two other Election Commissioners this noon and apprised them about complete absence of Democracy in the state under BJP rule. 

"The delegation further urged the commission to take appropriate steps for restraining the ruling party from using images and references of jawans' sacrifice in Pulwama and the strike by the (Indian) Air Force as the men in uniform belong to the nation as a whole and not to any particular political party," the CPI-M said in a statement.
