AGARTALA, March 6 (TIWN): Tripura Health Minister Sudip Barman on Tuesday has announced that in District there will be Ayush hospitals.The Health Minister said this during the inaugural ceremony of 50 Bedded Integrated AYUSH Hospital.Kailashahar, Unakoti, District.Right now Unakoti District has 13 staffs whereas Sudip Barman announced that more 22 people will be recruited shortly.Barman added that there is no side-effects of Ayurvedic treatment, whereas allopathic causes huge damages to liver, kidney.The Minister further sought people’s help to popularize Ayurvedic treatment. He also said that Homeopathic Doctors’ retirement age has been increased at 65 years.Earlier, Sudip Barman said that it will be made mandatory for the government doctors to prescribe generic medicines.The Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy, abbreviated as AYUSH, is a governmental body in India purposed with developing, education and research in the field of alternative medicines including ayurveda, yoga, unani, naturopathy, siddha and homoeopathy.
Tripura already has one Ayurvedic hospital at Agartala and now it has started in Kailashahar.
