AGARTALA, Feb 28 (TIWN): Health Minister Sudip Barman today has inaugurated E-blood bank apps for transparent blood camps in Tripura through which a person can check the available blood in blood banks by his mobile.

Addressing media, Minister Sudip Barman said, “By this e-blood app system, from registering of own name as blood donor to availability of blood in blood banks, all can be known sitting at home”.

Sudip Barman said, “There are certain confusions where the donors bloods are going ? Why does blood-crisis still exist even after enough blood donation camps ?”

“To end such confusions and doubts govt has developed this software through which everybody can get the blood banks’ storage record in his/her phone in each second”.

“How much of blood are preserving, how much are being used per day…….all will be visible and for that the user just have to download an app. In this way, blood bank records will be in your pocket and transparency will be maintained”, Sudip Barman added.
