AGARTALA, Feb 25 (TIWN): No cooked reports of BJP’s paid media, but fact-checking would reveal BJP’s policy of fooling people with empty promises which was successfully applied on unemployed youths before Assembly Election 2018 to gain vote banks and among all the promises the highest fake promise was “50000 govt jobs in first one year”. Whereas the unemployed youths played huge role to benefit BJP’s vote banks in 2018 Assembly Election, but the promises were given to the unemployed youths left not only unfulfilled rather ongoing recruitment were cancelled, over thousands of contractual employees were terminated and finally the hope of unemployed youths resulted in 1 year with 30.9% unemployment rate hiking from the previous Govt’s (9 to 15)% maximum percentage. In BJP’s Vision Document unfurled by Arun Jaitley, it says in page 6 Point No-7, “There are about 50,000 vacancies in the state government. We will fill up all these vacancies within a year through a transparent process”. Now, only 12 days left when BJP will complete one year of Govt formation, but a Nil-recruitment year was successfully passed by BJP along with multi-thousands ongoing recruitments’ cancellation.

BJP further shocked the unemployed youths In a notification No.F 9 (2) FIN (G)/ 2017/ 711 dated December 17, 2018 Chief Secretary L K Gupta said, “Tripura has the highest level of Govt employment in the country.

The level of employment is double in Tripura in compare to the states like Meghalaya. Needless to say, there is need to be extremely prudent in the matter of further recruitments”.

The notification further says, “Creation of posts will be strictly depend of availability with budgetary resources with Department concerned. Each dept has a number of posts created in the past, which are vacant and no longer required. Hence whenever a department submits a proposal of post creation it should be accompanied with surrender/ abolition of posts with equivalent financial  implications”. In the order it was also mentioned if rules are not followed, then dire consequences will be seen.

Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) even though autonomous body has cancelled all existing recruitments has fueled massive resentment effecting thousands of jobs aspirants. In last year, there was hardly any recruitment under TPSC and almost all notifications of TPSC was centered with postponing, cancellation of existing recruitments.
