AGARTALA, Feb 8 (TIWN): JUMLA Party to fool Tripura Public once again tomorrow. Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s arrival in Tripura, #ModiGoBack trend on social media has hit JUMLA Politics of the BJP. Even though Tripura’s idol King Bir Bikram Manikya’s statue has been prepared at Agartala Airport which will be unveiled by PM Modi himself after landing in the Airport, but at Jirania the same King’s statue was hit by police bullet which was covered by black colour clothes during Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s arrival on that time. Even though King Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya’s statue will be inaugurated by Royal family which is protesting against Citizenship Amendment Bill 2016 left uninvited. Royal scion Pradyot Manikya, his mother Tripura’s Rajmata and also the Princess left uninvited. Pradyot Manikya standing in Agartala Airport has told media that he was not invited by the Govt and also pinched the Govt for showing two types of treatment for him and his grandfather Bir Bikram Manikya. Also there was a massive protest against Citizenship Amendment Bill in Tripura led by Pradyot Manikya against whom BJP has filed sedition charges.

CPI-M MPs  1) Jitendra Chaudhury (LS), 2) Shankar Prasad Datta (LS), 3) Jharna Das Baidya (RS) have boycotted Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi’s programmes here in Agartala. “To record our protest and express solidarity with the collective and spontaneous movement against the move of Modi Govt to pass the “Citizenship Amendment Bill 2016” we three MPs of Tripura have taken conscious decision to boycott the  function at Agartala to be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi”, the MPs announced.“The Citizenship Amendment Bill 2016, if get the passage, would grossly to harm the cause of Northeast in long run and pose severe fracture to the secular feature of this country. The bill has been conceived against the spirit of our constitution”, the MPs said.

Today it has been long one month that during a protest against Citizenship Amendment Bill 2016, 6 youths in Tripura were shot by Tripura Police at Madhabbari Jirania but till now no action was taken against police. Also a group of miscreants were seen attempting to generate violence but no action was also taken against them, rather police lodged FIR against all the agitators of Citizenship Bill.

However, to fillup the field BJP has ordered all Govt teachers to participate in Modi’s rally and to arrive before the rally begins. School children from Airport to Astabal stadium will be standing on rows to welcome PM Modi.

Amid so much of hypes, the reality is BJP after 11 months of passage lost public support and allover slogans going on against #GoBack for Modi. Doubled unemployment, slashing of social pensioners names from beneficiary list, almost nil MGNREGA mandays crippled Tripura’s economy. Thus, ahead of PM’s arrival state is undergoing massive resentment against Modi Govt.
