AGARTALA, Feb 4 (TIWN): Reacting over BJP’s allegation that Tripura’s Royal scion Pradyot Manikya is trying to beat the harmony of various communities aiming to be an MP from Tripura, Pradyot Manikya said that BJP’s target is West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and aim is West Bengal vote banks by Citizenship Bill, but Northeast is the highest victim due to that election-game.
Rubbishing BJP MLA Rampada Jamatia’s claim, Pradyot Manikya said he has no such political desire and he could easily become MP as BJP proposed him for that already, but he rejected to join BJP.
Citizenship Bill has hit Tripura as lakhs of illegal migrants are allegedly residing in the state who came after 1971.
Being topped in unemployment and victims of having various other issues, Tripura right now, regardless community is in demand of cancellation of the proposed bill.
