AGARTALA, Feb 1 (TIWN): Tripura’s crime queen BJP General Secretary Pratima Bhomwik’s brother Biswajit Bhowmik led severe attack upon the opposition leaders including Ex-Minister MLA Sahid Chowdhury, indigenous leader of GMP Prakshit Murasing.

At least 6 CPI-M leaders left injured severely in this brutal attack.

Brother of Pratima Bhowmik, Biswajit Bhowmik is not only accused of smuggling of phensedyl and ganja, who bought many tippers at the cost of crores after BJP won the election, is also accused of killing his own wife with help of his elder sister Pratima Bhowmik.

Today’s incident took place at Kathalia’s Kalikhola area where with 6 demands a protest was staged.

All of a sudden huge numbers of BJP miscreants led severe attacks on the CPI-M leaders, left at least 6 people injured on spot.

Vehicles were broken, local leader Koushik Chanda’s home was attacked severely and family members were physically attacked.

From CPI-M also Pratima Bhowmik’s brother Biswajit Bhowmik’s name has been given as the mastermind behind this incident.

This is not the first attack upon the opposition in Tripura, earlier CPI-M Ex-Minister Bhanulal Saha who is a cancer patient was slapped by BJP Yuva Morcha activists.

CPI-M alleged that in front of police that attack took place.
