UDAIPUR, October 1 (TIWN): Even Lake City Udaipur seems to be "Modi-fied" as one of the big budget puja organizers Rabindra Sangha's theme is Gujarat. The pandal has been built in imitation of Somnath Temple of Gujarat. The clay artisans of Nabadwip, West Bengal Naren Pal made the Durga Idol extremely gorgeous. This year the budget of the club is Rs 14 lakhs. The organizers also tried to create awareness about ' Saving Animal Species' with the interiors of the pandal present a display of artificial animals as if saying," We want to survive."When asked whether the theme of this year's puja has been "Modi-fied" with Gujrat themes, organizing committee Secretary Arindam Lodh(Rana) smiled in agreement as PM Modi even filling in imaginations of decorators, artists .

      Speaking to TIWN, Secretary said," Considering the huge crowd that gathers every year, we have opened the pandal from 'Maha Panchami'. On Maha Ashtami we have planned to arrange 'Anna Bhog' for all. Besides, we have also tried to present an extravagant display of lights keeping the demand of the people in mind."

Indeed, as per the expectation of the organizors, crowd started to gather in lines from Maha Sashthi itself. Pandal, Durga idol as well as the lighting display will surely attract the people to Rabindra Sangha not only from Udaipur but also from outside.
