AGARTALA, Dec 9 (TIWN): Tripura’s tribal party Tipraland State Party (TSP) was not permitted for rally at Khumlwng.
From Home Dept it was said that the rally may affect the law and order at there, even though before two weeks TSP told the Dept about their rally.
The Tipraland State Party (TSP) had called for a massive rally with Tipraland demand at Khumulwng (ADC HQ) on December 10.On that day, along with Tipraland demand, TSP also was to raise the issue of proposed citizenship bill demanding to cancel the proposed bill.
The party leaders earlier said in a press conference that this will be the first ever big rally by Tipraland State Party.The rally was to discuss on the demand of raising Tipraland issue in the upcoming parliament session and to pass the bill.
TSP claimed, the tribal community is in the verge of destruction due to massive demographic change in past few decades, but the rally programme was cancelled as Govt didn’t give permission.
