AGARTALA, Dec 2 (TIWN): CPI-M has organized a massive protest rally at Agartala voicing against the Jirania attack of yesterday.

On yesterday during nomination paper submission, CPI-M Ex-Minister Manik Dey, ADC CEM Radhacharan Debbarma were heavily attacked and all candidates vehicles, police escorts were also attacked.

CPI-M accused West Dist police authority for nexus with the attackers of BJP on yesterday’s incident. In front of police that attack took place and candidates could not submit nominations at the end.

Tripura Municipal election to be held on December 22, but centering the election broad day lights attacks are going on upon the oppositions.

At Santir Bazar today 5 CPI-M candidates houses were vandalized and also threats were given that if they don’t give up to stand in election then more attacks will be held in coming days.
