Cold-Blooded-Murder of Tripura Advocate : Lawyers demand Justice, met DGP

AGARTALA, Nov 29 (TIWN): After a brutal murder of Tripura advocate Pradip Modok, S/O- Late Promod Ranjan Modok, lawyers of Bar held a condolence meeting at the West District Court in Agartala, expressed concern on the law and order situation, demanded proper investigation and justice to the victim and his family. The advocates then met DGP A K Shukla demanding proper justice to the incident. After a condolence meeting, addressing media, Bhaskar Debbarma, Secretary of Tripura Bar said, "He was murdered brutally. We had a general meeting here and raised voice for justice. We have decided that a team of delegation will meet the higher authority of State Police demanding proper justice for the killed lawyer. We will also demand that the investigation needs to be completed as fast as possible. This is a cold blooded murder, as we understood from the primary observation". Pradip Modok, S/O- Late Promod Ranjan Modok resident of Abhoynagar in Agartala city was killed brutally on late-night and kept his body in a water-drum inside the house.Family members in the morning couldn't find him and after searching they were collapsed in shocks when found his dead body in the morning.Police were informed about the dead body found of Pradip Modok and rushed to the spot. After arriving, police recovered the body from the drum and called forensic team and dog-squad for investigation investigate.

Police also confirmed that it's a murder and they are now working to find out the motive behind his murder. Pradip Modok was unmarried and was residing with his two sisters, one of those sisters was unmarried but residing in her brother's house.

Talking to media, they said that they don't have any idea who killed their brother but today early morning at around 4.30 am huge sounds were heard, but ignoring those sounds, they slept again.
