AGARTALA, Nov 14 (TIWN): With a shocking corruption exposing, Modi's Fasal Bima Yonja revealed as tool to grab poor people's money as BJP Govt at Centre / State had forced Tripura farmers to give premium to Reliance company, which had no office on that time. CPI-M's wing All India Kishan Sabha (AIKS) State Secretary Narayan Kar has exposed Modi's Fasal Bima Yojna is a bigger scam than Rafale scam.Narayan Kar said, "In May June month Tripura farmers were devastated in heavy flood. According to Govt record at least 48,085 farmers lost crops in Tripura flood, but not a single paisa was given to them"."In 2016-17 Central Govt allocated the Fasal Bima Yojna to private companies and one Govt organization.Total 21,500 crores prenium was taken from under Fasal Bima Yojna but in return the farmers got nothing. After demand was raised for 4270 crores of money back, after investigation only 714.14 crores was allocated but how far farmers got nobody knows. In Madhya Pradesh one farmer goy 69 paisa. In Tripura Rs. 39, 63, 498 premium was collected, whereas nothing was given in return".

"The tender was given to Reliance Company whereas no Reliance Office was there during the tender", Narayana Kar said mentioning Fasal Bima is the biggest ever scam of Modi Govt, greater than Rafale Deal scam.

CPI-M leader Narayan Kar has slammed the ruling BJP Govt for victimizing the flood victim farmers in Tripura, alleging no propercompensation was given to the farmers in state following the deadly flood. Talking to TIWN, CPI-M leader who also Khet Mazdoor President Narayna Kar said, “Farmers in Tripura are left in very pathetic condition. Various cabinet meetings were held since the Govt formation, but no discussion had taken place regarding the flood related losses which the farmers had faced recently”.

“Massive crop damages were reported from this flood, but even though Prime Minister Narendra Modi often talks about farmers in Mann Ki Baat and Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb also claims to double farmers' incomes but this year the farmers haven’t got the premium even, neither they were facilitated with flood lashed crop damage losses”, he said.

“CPI-M Govt had started an SRI scheme for the farmers which  was praised nation-wide. Under that scheme each farmer got various items and little amount of money for their Agriculture purpose, but the BJP Govt hasn’t taken any initiative to continue it”, Narayan Kar added.

“Various issues as bio-metric, E-rationing are depriving poors from their food rights. MGNREGA works have been stopped. In overall rural economy is on the verge of destruction. Farmers are helpless”, he said.
