AGARTALA, Nov 1 (TIWN): As only 6 days have left, preparations are going on across Agartala high keeping the Kali Puja ahead, which will be celebrated on November 7.
Artisans are now busy to shape Goddess Kali idols and to give their best efforts in making the idols beautifully. Apart from idols, preparations for earthen lamps and other commodities are also going on in full wave.
After Durga Puja and Laxmi Puja people are now eagerly waiting for Kali Puja or Diwali to celebrate.
In Tripura at Udaipur Matabari temple the highest celebration is made & preparation is there also on peak.
Kali Puja, also known as Shyama Puja or Mahanisha Puja, is a festival dedicated to the Hindu goddess Kali, celebrated on the new moon day of the Hindu month Kartik especially in West Bengal, Odisha, Assam and Bangladesh. It coincides with the pan-Indian Lakshmi Puja day of Diwali.
