Tripura CM's motormouth insults Indian Amry, says, 'One-Rank-One-Pension scheme of Modi Govt pushed armies for Surgical Strike'
TIWN Oct 22, 2018

AGARTALA, Oct 22 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb's immature statement has caused major insults to Indian Armies by comparing armies dedication with money. CM was addressing on Rice Day at Udaipur subdivision when he said so in attempt to refer the significance of Jai-Jawan-Jay-Kishan slogan of India. CM claimed, "Jai Kishan Jay Jawan" slogan raised by many but only Modi could succeed it. Noteworthy, Jai Jawan Jai Kisan was a slogan of the second Prime Minister of India Lal Bahadur Shastri in 1965 at a public gathering at Ramlila Maidan, Delhi. However, CM said that it was only Modi who made it possible by "paying off" the Jawans (Armies) with equal pension scheme. "Jay Jawan, Jay Kishan is not only a phase but Modi has made it possible by One-Rank-One-Pension which led the armies to attack Pakistan and kill thousands of militants. Before surgical strike, world thought only America and Israel can attack other countries and India's name was beyond though but the pay-hike led greatest ever surgical strike which India did never done".

For readers, it can be mentioned here that One Rank one Pension was not given by Modi Govt first, neither the surgical strike was first took place under Modi Govt, rather it was a surprise that Modi Govt used armies dedication as political tool.

CM even though was addressing in Govt programme, but from first to last he was strict with his sharp attacks upon CPI-M and Congress.

Since Independence of India the Govt of the country conducted various surgical strikes.

Here is few examples picked up from year 2000. The surgical strikes since year 2000 are :

1) January 21, 2000 (Nadala Enclave, across the Neelam River);

2) September 18, 2003 (Baroh Sector, Poonch);

3) June 19, 2008 (Bhattal Sector, Poonch);

4) August 30-September 1, 2011 (Sharda Sector, across Neelam River Valley in Kel);

5) January 6, 2013 (Sawan Patra checkpost);

6) July 27-28, 2013 ( Nazapir Sector);

7) August 6, 2013 (Neelam Valley);

8) January 14, 2014 (Army Chief, General Bikram Singh's statement qua surgical strike on December 23, 2013);

9) September 28-29, 2016 (DGMO's statement)-Modi era.
