AGARTALA, Oct 4 (TIWN): Even after BJP's open rigging led by Ram Prasad Pal at Dukli block was exposed, attack upon IPFT at Yuvarjanagar block revealed and went viral in social media, along with various more similar incidents, Law Minister Ratan lal Nath has claimed that BJP wanted opposition to fight in the Panchayat by-election.

"As they (opposition parties) didn't get candidates, so didn't file nominations", said Ratan lal Nath adding in the few blocks where oppositions submitted nominations BJP won 86% seats, which is a positive side.

Question raises, if BJP wanted opposition "to fight" in Panchayat elections, why State Election Commission could not proceeded with re-scheduling of nomination submission ?

Data-base reports of BJP sponsored violence to stop opposition from submitting nominations :

3) In Kathalia block instead of 2 people 17-18 people forcefully entered in the block and gheraoed the oppositions by saying no election will be held, no nomination will be taken,

4) In Kakrabon block, the nomination papers which were collected by candidates were snatched by BJP going house to house.

5) At Belonia, CPI-M leaders were not allowed to go in meetings. At Jualibari woman candidate was returned back home not allowing submission of nominations. Mohonbhog block was totally blocked and opposition couldn't enter at there,

6) Nalchar, Salema, Rajnagar blocks conditions were also same", he added further referring Boxonagar's yesterday's violence and Darmanagar.
