AGARTALA, Sep 27 (TIWN): Tripura Education Minister Ratan lal Nath while addressing at Pragna Bhawan in a seminar conducted under the banner of "State Level Science Seminar" by Education Dept, he laid importance upon building scientific attitude among children.
"Students of Tripura have enormous talents, which often come out when we visit various schools", Ratan lal Nath said mentioning about Anurag Das Barman, a student of Class-4 of Saint Arnold’s HS School, Ambassa who bagged World Grand Championship in mathematics completion, by correctly solving 70 maths within 5 minutes at Russia’s World Trade Centre.
"Along with scientific mentality, patriotism needs to be groomed among these children and the children are also junior scientists with many hidden thoughts and ideas. This kind of seminar is a common stage where students can share their knowledge", Ratan Lal Nath.
This year the theme of the seminar is based on Industrial Revolution and Ratan Lal Nath said Industrial Revolution reduced human efforts from physical works to machine works in faster manner.
