AGARTALA, Sep 8 (TIWN): CPI-M's youth wing DYFI activists have come in massive protest on Saturday voicing against the increasing petrol, diesel, LPG prices across India under BJP-govt, affecting Tripura's economy each day.
The rally started from Chatra Yuva Bhawan and walked across the main areas of the Agartala city.
DYFI State Secretary Amal Chakraborty led the rally voicing against "uncontrolled" petrol, diesel, LPG price hikes.
The left wings and parties also have supported nationwide agitations on Monday "strike" of Congress against fuel price hike.
Today in Agartala petrol price is : 78.83 rupees, whereas diesel price is : 72.66 rupees. At the same time tax hike, commodity price hike, fare hikes have turned lives miserable, whereas businessmen are facing heavy losses due to down market since 5 to 6 months.
