AGARTALA, Sep 7 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Friday once again repeated his controversial statement saying, “Manik Sarkar by keeping his clean face in front used to run ganja business through his cadres”.

Chief Minister Biplab Deb was addressing in a donation camp in Udaipur, where Tourism Minister Pranajit Singha Roy was also present.

CM said, “Manik Sarkar looks like very neat and clean person, calm and all respect him, but behind his clean face his cadres were doing illegal business, smuggling, crime against women. For all these who is responsible ?”

“Tripura could not stand on its own feet as Manik Sarkar wanted to make Tripura to stand on Ganjas feet”, CM added.

However, TIWN has noted whereas CM Biplab Deb one day ago jumped his data of ganja seizing from 35,000 kilo to 40,000 kilo today in one day he raised 2000 kilo more saying total 42,000 ganja police seized under his Chief Ministry.
