AGARTALA, Sep 7 (TIWN): In Tripura’s history, various political parties CPI-M, Congress ruled earlier with their share of criminals in party but criminals were minority, less than 25% but in BJP era, majority over 80% are criminals running terror-spree, collecting huge amounts from opposition party families, common public, non-stop murders, threats paralyzed democracy as opposition workers are terrorized even not to collect nomination papers. Even though Education Minister Ratan Lal on Thursday claimed that state is undergoing under total democracy and CPI-M’s allegations are not true, the Minister didn’t mention about Manuchara HS School at Karamchara, North District where a girl and her mother were not only pushed from their canteen inside school building but also broke the girl’s leg and beaten her severely, assaulted her by stretching her hair. After the incident, her mother was screaming, “Where is Biplab Deb ? Is this happening what he promised ?†Hence no answer was given by Biplab Deb, neither the Education Minister. The main accused is none other than but Mihir Das, Yuva Morcha Karamchara-constituency President.
The incident took place at Manughat High School, where due poverty mother and daughter were running the canteen since 19 years. After BJP came in power they asked them to leave the canteen so that new people (BJP recommended) can take the work in hand. But all of sudden today Mihir Das rushed to the school and had beaten the girl severely.
This is just an example which has no link with political issue. Tripura’s majority disgruntled public already termed it as Bharatiya JUMLA Party as in 6 months Governance, already Biplab Deb proved utter failure as CM.
Another attack was launched by around 50 miscreants at Bamutia block office to "make sure" no opposition party can submit nominations in the upcoming Panchayat Election and attack was done by entering the room of BDO and then the team had expanded with 100 people. As a result the meeting couldn't be conducted and postponed seeing the seriousness of the situation. Following the incident Congress had gheraoed the DM Office in Agartala protesting over the attack held upon Congress and in the afternoon, CPI-M leaders led by Ex-Deputy Speaker Pabitra Kar submitted a deputation to DM Sandeep Mahatme, but this incident was also denied by Ratan Lal Nath saying all are “lies” of the opposition.
When atleast 5 political murders and total 58 murders in last 5 months took place in Tripura, on Sep 4 Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has claimed that no political murder was reported in last 6 months under BJP Govt. However in reality the 5 killed opposition activists who were killed with political reason are : 1) Abdul Kadir (65), 2) Tapas Sutradhar, 2) Rakesh Dhar, 3) Pradip Deb Barma, 4) AjendraReang.
After Chief Minister Biplab Deb claimed that CPI-M leaders from above 3000 posts had resigned at their own will and Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath said that CPI-M is all doing dramas of being afraid with fake-allegations of violence, Bijan Dhar told media, "It's totally baseless claim of BJP as these leaders resigned from posts, not from the party. BJP is bringing false allegations that we are not getting candidates, but the resigned people themselves are CPI-M candidates, who are still CPI-M even after resigning. As CM said by-election is necessary for running of the administration, so we have no problem with that. But do it democratically. Our candidates resigned due to threats to their family members, wives, daughters".
After BJP came in power party offices bulldozing, massive terminations of employees, starvations have hit the state, but forcing the leaders to resign BJP has called for by-election for above 3000 seats, which never happened earlier in Tripura.
