AGARTALA, July 29 (TIWN): Social media wide viral Chief Minister of Tripura Biplab Deb who constantly came in media limelight at the international, national level for his controversial remarks said that Tripura media have always been viral.

CM was describing how he was fond of Dipak Gupta, Ex-Chief Justice of Tripura High Court, presently Supreme Court Justice, when he said so.

CM said, “When Dipak Gupta was the Chief Justice of Tripura High Court, I was at Delhi, but was a huge fan of him. Everyday through social media Dipak Gupta’s name and judgments I used to get”.

“When I came to Tripura, my journalists friends came to me and had shown me various of your quotes… indeed I never used to go through books much, but I could heard your speech in facebook and wahtsApp. You were so viral……… Indeed Tripura’s media has always been viral”, CM added.

However, before the Election Biplab Deb and BJP leaders at Delhi and rest of the country alleged that Tripura news do not come in National Media limelight.

Noteworthy, CM Biplab Deb’s controversial remarks became so viral that Beauty Queen, 1997’s Miss World Diana Hayden had to appear in media to fight back Biplab Deb’s hurting statement against her, which said, “Diana Hayden was unworthy to be Miss World”.
