AGARTALA, July 27 (TIWN): Eight overaged teachers among 10323 will be appointed in regular scale, Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath said.
This has raised a ray of hope among overaged unemployed people of the state and the Minister claimed that the State Govt is following SC's guidelines while appointing 10323 teachers.
10323 teachers already lost jobs on December, 2017 due to their illegal recruitment by the former Left Govt.
Resentments have brewed among the unemployed youths and also the ruling party youth supporters as the 10323 teachers begged their jobs in CPI-M’s party quota in Manik Sarkar’s era.
“On November 13, 2017 Recruitment Board took a test to appoint 3706 numbers of teachers. Total 1092 graduate teachers were recommended and out of them 8 belonged to 10323 teachers. But they have become overaged. So, State Govt has decided to appoint the teachers with other TET qualified teachers”, the Minister said, without mentioning what are their ages right now and what were their ages during interview in 2017.
