UDAIPUR / AGARTALA, July 25 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb while addressing at Udaipur on the occasion of Udaipur Press Club's silver jubilee said, “The previous Chief Minister could not understand what Tripura is. Tripura has much potentialities and the new Govt will introduce it in new way”.

“There are cities as Dubai, Singapore which do not have much resources. Still the places are on the top of the world. If those countries can develop, why not Tripura ?”, he said.

“Tripura Govt is strict to make an addiction free state. Drugs and Crimes are the diseases of the society. Let’s take an oath to make Tripura free from crime and addiction”, CM said adding further that state govt is focusing in Cyber sector too.

Biplab Deb further called the women to play the role of Home Minister and to act strictly against illegal activities.
