AGARTALA, July 18 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Wednesday while addressing media here in Agartala said, he will never forgive the previous Chief Minister Manik Sarkar for reeling the state under lawlessness and Ganja smuggling.

“He is elder to me, so I respect him, but what Manik Sarkar has done it could not be done by Satan also. I feel very sad on the previous Chief Minister Manik Sarkar who has destroyed the whole state with massive ganja cultivation", CM told media here. 

“In his own constituency Dhanpur highest numbers of ganja gardens have been spotted. Around 1 lakh Kg of ganja is produced in Tripura and this is due to 25 years long misruling. What Manik Sarkar has done it has crossed Satan’s misdeeds”, he added.

“Whenever Manik Sarkar was asked, he declined to have knowledge about those illegal activities whereas he was solely responsible behind the illegal activities”, CM said.
